SWW #2

Hi lovelies! Here's another So What Wednesday on the last infinity date for a long time. Hope you don't mind my little rant fest!

So What:

• If I haven't start any Christmas shopping yet! I'll get around to it.

• If I don't even know what I spent all of my last paycheck on!

• If I still want to quit my job and take my shop to the next level.

• If all I want is a Venti Skinny Iced Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks

• If I still act like a little kid. I refuse to grow up.

• If I want to spend all my money at Sephora and Sigmabeauty.com

• If I'm considering started a beauty vlog thingy.

• If my hair is one of the most important and beloved things in my life. haha seriously though, it is.

• If I really, really want every season of Boy Meets World on DVD.

• If, like last week, I'm still in bed with my pjs on writing this post and watching Boy Meets World... Ya just don't mess with tradition lol

This is a new feature called So What Wednesday(SWW) that I literally just discovered on the blogosphere thanks to Kristen Lawlor & really wanted to share it with you all! So here's to hoping you all like it.

• So what if I hate my 9-5 job so much that I actually called out *sick* on Monday, and that I spend a majority of my time at work dreaming of the day when I finally leave for good!

weekly wishlist

what are the odds my weekly wishlist would get posted on a Wednesday lol this is funny to those who don't know because I used to have 'wishlist wednesday' post that I didn't stick to. haha the irony!

a musical story...

ever since I was a little kid, I was super interested in music. My dream at age 8 or 9 was to be a drummer. My parents got me my first ever keyboard for my 8th birthday. It was the coolest gift I ever received. I was soo excited to learn how to play. At first I just listened to the pre-set songs and pretended to know what I was doing. it took me about a year to learn my first few songs which included 'happy birthday' and 'silent night,' which I played for my whole family one Chirstmas Eve. As I got older, I continued to self -teach myself how to play the keyboard, although I liked to learn songs that were meant to be played on a piano lol I was soo proud of myself that I learned to play the keyboard by myself and the age of like 9 years old. And I'm still super proud of myself today! I started itching to learn the guitar in high school, but being the naive girl I was, I had to do and be what every1 else was. [i regret that about myself so much] I finallyade it to college, where I honestly feel ive truly become myself. For my 20th birthday, I got my very first guitar! A black acoustic/electric Ibanez guitar!! It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I, once again, taught myself how to play the guitar. I learned my first song with in a few weeks. and then I began to learn songs from artist I really liked, like NeverShoutNever[my idol/Hero], Hey there Delilah, Boys like girls and so on. I've begun to learn the basic, which I learned when I first got my guitar almost two years ago. But I'm going baks to the basics so that I can truly play the guitar for real! I never realised how much I truly love playing the guitar, I just feel right. Sooo many lyrics, thoughts, ideas come to my head and it helps to deal with soo much. I have a lot on plate for a really long time ad playing music helps me deal even if it's only for a little while. Im really excited about the future and where my love for music will take me. I hope somewhere incredible. It's always been a secret dream of mine to go on tour, like in a band. That would be amazing!!

I can't tell you were my love for all things music comes from. Neither one of my parents is musical, and I love my mom to death but the woman can not sing for her life. I'm pretty sure my grandparents are in the same boat as my parents. I mean honestly I tell myself that I have this love for music because I was born on Elvis Presley's birthday[January 8th] But I mean that's just a little silly thing I tell myself, and is so bad that half believe its true lol

I don't care where my love for music comes from, and I'm discovering that my love grows more and more every year it seems like. When I was younger I wanted to be a lawyer or a teacher. I didn't think at all about pursuing music. But I've been considering a career in the music industry since high school now. All I know is that [cliché saying] life is seriously way too short to be spending a large part of it doing something that you don't like doing. I just want to live my life toy fullest potential and just do whatever it is I want. It'sy life and I only have this one to lead so I'm going to enjoy the little things and live my dreams because that all that we have in the end.

long time no post!

     Sorry for my very long and unannounced absence from the bloggin' community! I have soo much I've been wanting to share with all of you, but unfortunately some things in life have been getting the best of me : /   If you read my blog, than you'll most likely already know that I  have unfortunately been unemployed since the end of April and that I did not do as well as I had hope in school this past semester. Due to these little mishaps in my life, I've been too preoccupied to blog about anything! I'm soo upset! I missed like 3 Fun Fact Fridays and also the opportunity to share all the little things that have been happening in my neck of the woods. I do have some rather excitingly great news to share!! Thanks to my amazing FSIL(read: future sister-in-law) I got an amazing job at a paper company in the customer service office. And I could not be more thrilled with my position! [and pay!!] all i have to say is that I am NEVER going back to working retail ever again!!

     Also, I have unfortunately put my little hair accessories business on hold : ( However, I have been making lots of new hair flowers for all who wish to purchase some!! I absolutely love the new design of them and the fabrics! they're soo cute! I can't wait to share them with you all!! :D

    I have this urge to just keep writing a gigantic post about all the stuff I want to tell you since my absence, but I feel that would get boring and ramble-ly lol So I'm going to list some things that I want to share and then hopefully I'll get back into the swing of posting daily!! Warning: it will be difficult for me to commit to this with a full-time job, but i'll try my bestest!!!

First Ever: Fun Fact Friday!

     Good morning lovelies! I have loads of running around to do today! I  have a wedding to attend in two weeks with my family and lots of little bits and bobs still need to get finished. I just sent my dress to be altered yesterday and I also bought some shoes to wear with it. I absolutely dread going to weddings; it's definitely not my cup of tea. Any way, I will be going all over the place with my mom today trying to get as much done as possible.
     So I will leave you with my first ever FUN FACT FRIDAY!!

     Well Today's first ever Fun Fact Friday is... That I am one of six(6) children! Yes, all from the same mom and dad! lol I find it funny when people ask me that; yes, my parents have six children together lol. I am the second child behind my oldest brother who is 22. I am, however, the first girl and first granddaughter; I'm 21. Then there's my first younger sister who's 20 and after her comes my youngest sister who's 13. After the girls is the younger boys, who are 10 and 8. It's a pretty big family and although they drive me insane at times, there's never a dull moment in our house! 

     So there you have it, my first ever Fun Fact Friday!! It was fun to do this and i'm hoping to keep at it as long as I can remember to post hahaha well until next time friends, have an awesome weekend!

new adventures on the horizon

     So I have been doing pretty well with posting on this blog almost twice a week, which is a lot considering I left this blog unattended for almost 5 months!! Shame on me, i know! I'm such a bad blogger : (  But I have redeemed myself a bit by blogging more often. See the thing is, that I started a baking blog (baking is one of my passions in life) about 2 months ago and I've been extremely committed to it, posting about 3-4 times a day! So you can imagine that I have barely any time to post on my personal blog. When I started Random Ramblings last year, I really didn't know where i wanted my blog to go. At first I wanted it to be a "Daily Photo" blog, where I posted a picture or two everyday relating to something I was doing, liked or just really wanting to share on my blog. That ended rather quickly as I began using my blog to vent/rant about life! It was super helpful for me; having a place to complain to anyone who stumbles upon my blog, not that I think people what to hear about my rants lol but I really benefited from it. So I decided quite recently that I want my blog to be a place for me! To document my (hopefully) daily life with outfit posts perhaps, crafty items I make or read/hear about, friends, work, school and all that fun stuff. I have SO MUCH i want to share, but I don't always have to time to write about it, which is unfortunate. Years down the road, I want to be able to look back on my early twenties and remember everything I've posted about. Which is why I'm considering a blog makeover; start from almost scratch. And if anyone finds what I post about even slightly interesting and decides to follow, well that's just icing on the cupcake! I hope to connect with others out their in the blogging world and share stories, experiences, ideas, etc...

little simples

    well today is monday and that usually means everyone is miserable and yearning for the weekend to start again. However, this monday was definitely one of the best that I've had in a while! In case you are unaware of today's significance, it is 5†23†11, the release date for Lady GaGa's brand new album, "Born This Way"!!!! I have been waiting for today for what feels like forever!!!! I'm tickled pinker than you can believe that today has finally arrived! My best friend in the entire world, and myself went to Target to pick up a copy of this musical genius!! and it was only 10 bucks, WIN!! And we both unknowingly wore the exact same Lady GaGa shirt and black hoodie with matching black leggings haha I felt like I was 5 again dressing to match my best friend. And it didn't bother either one of us that we were matching head to toe lol It was funny, actually. As soon as we each purchased our own copies of our audio bibles, we played the CD through its entirety until we reach  the restaurant we were going to have lunch at. Its an awesome Mexican style restaurant that is decorated like a fiesta everyday! and the food is literally amazing! PLUS, they offer vegetarian dishes!(Another WIN!!) Lunch was delicious, just like we expected it to be. We talked about the usual; family, school, work or lack-there-of lol and we finalized our plans to see The Hangover 2 at midnight on Wednesday! This week is definitely out weighing all the stressfulness that has also arrived at my front door but that's another post lol
     Also, so more random news, I had to send my beautiful acoustic-electric guitar out to be fixed in the middle of April and I just got it back today! I've been so restless without it! Usually when a song idea pops into my head i strum it out on my guitar, or to relieve stress, sadness, anger, etc... Its been the most stressful, sad, anger moth without my guitar! I;m so glad to have it back, But its not the same exact guitar, they sent me a completely brand new guitar, same style but updated! and the black wood has sparkles in it!  eep!! I was sooo excited when my dad brought it home tonight! I've been playing it nonstop! 
     I guess its the little simples, as i like to call them, that truly make life worth it! Enjoy the rest of your week everyone and have a super awesome memorial day weekend!!

finals. job hunting. summer. oh boy!

     thank goodness this semester is practically over!! no more papers! no more homework! no more tests! NO MORE FINALSSSSS!!!! I'm so happy this semester is over bc I did really well for once and I can't wait to see my final grades!! I took my intro. to business final today and it was honestly the easiest exam I've ever taken!!! My professor used the exact questions from our preivous tests and gave us a complete list of all the essays!! hard to believe this happened in a college course. But I don't mind, as long as I get a really good grade! I have my Accounting 102 final on Monday(MY LAST FINAL OF THE SEMESTER!!!!) and my professor is having a study group tomorrow morning at 9am, ON A SATURDAY! ughhh! its soooo annoying, but I know that if I want to do well than I need to go! and i shall! haha
    I was also recently "let go" (to put it nicely) from my job at a jewlery/accessories store. After being there for over a year in April, I'm honestly happy to say that I'm glad I no longer work there. It was just another one of those mall jobs where they promise you the world but instead, they take advantage of you in every way possible! Soo unfair! I've finally decided people in retail have no souls!! They're selfish and heartless, well at least the people I worked with. Its a little harsh on my part to claim that everyone in retail is a heartless person.
     The one thing I hate about leaving a job, is having to find a new one! ughhhh!! its such a headache! But fortunately, I searched craigslist for days and submitted what seemed like 100 resumes and I actually got a call back from a Chiropractor's office. The interview went extremely well, actually a thousand times better that I anticipated! The Chiropractor interviewed me and seemed to be interested in hiring me. I'm eagerly waiting for Tuesday to roll around for two reasons: 1) SCHOOL'S OVER!!!! 2)the Chiropractor's office will be calling me back to let me know if I got the job!!! : D  Such an exciting day Tuesday will be!
     And then there's summer, its practically here!! And i'm just as excitd about it as the grade school kids who still have a month or so of school left!! I just love the idea of not have to constantly be running back and forth between school and work! I might actually get to have a social life again!! Considering I haven't had one since probably right around.... oh yeah, LAST SUMMER!!!! It's crazy, I know but school became my number 1 priority, like it should have always been. It tooked me a while to realize that I kinda have to actually go to class regularly and do my homework on time inorder to do well in college, and eventually graduate. So I'm the right path finally! And ready to relax and enjoy my time off this summer!! well until summer classes start hahaha
