Fun Fact Friday: #5

     I'm a major, huge hockey fan! My team is the New Jersey Devils, of course lol Being that I've lived in Jersey my whole life, its only appropriate. I've been a hockey fan for along as I can remember. My parents would take me and my brother and sister to see the Rangers play at Madison Square Garden and  Continental Airlines Arena. My parents are big Rangers fans since forever and I was raised to be one myself, However once I was old enough to understand the game, I was about 9 when I realized the NJ Devils was my team!

    I went to two games last season and it was amazing! the most fun I've had in a very long time! I really want to save up money and get myself some season tickets[yes, that's how much of a fan I am of the Devils!] I saved up some cash after my 21st birthday this past January and bought my self a Ilya Kovalchuk jersey!!! I've been wanting one since I was 9! and now I finally have one! He's my absolute favorite player! He's amazing at what he does, such an outstanding athlete. 

     I can't wait to attend many more games this upcoming season!! This season is going to be ours!! The Devils will WIN THE CUP!!!!

Fun Fact Friday

     This is my fourth Fun Fact Friday!! I'm soo proud of myself that I;ve been able to keep this up lol I'm surprised that I even remember to write these post every Friday lol Here's to keeping this going! haha

     Sooo this week's I want to share with all of you my love for all things related to sewing!!!! I received my first sewing machine from my gram when I was 18. It's such a great machine; I love it! I make loads of different stuff on it from doggie shirts, to dresses, to phone cases, and etc... It's one of my favorite hobbies next to playing the guitar. I just wish I had the money to finance my hobby lol I would be out buying all sorts of fabrics and bits and bobs to go along with the infinite amount of projects I have lined up in my head lol I love having an outlet like sewing to help release all my creative energy into something amazing!! I'm planning on posting pictures of new projects as I complete them, so stay tuned!! Right now I'm working of a kind of iphone case/cozy key chain thingy lol It's soo fun being able to create this from your own two hands!

Fun Fact Friday

     I have one very "special"(& i don't mean, meaningful) black & purple, nautical star tattooed on my left wrist. It's the first tattoo I've ever gotten, with hopefully more to follow. I received this "special" ink from a former friend whose become a little less than an acquaintance nowadays. I got it done in her basement. When I was 20. Over Spring Break. Without my parents knowing. I got into loads and loads of trouble for it lol I wasn't allowed to leave my house except for school and work for about 2 months!!! haha Its definitely a great story to tell, and that's mostly why I love this tattoo soooo much! Besides the fact that its my first one, it was done by a 'then' friend[my tat was the first legitimate tattoo she had ever done] & it was free!! haha yeah I know I broke all the major rules when it comes to getting tattooed, but honestly I really didn't care. I was being spontaneous and having fun! 

     The tattoo turned out awful(no offense Nic), everyone that sees it thinks its sharpie, then when I tell them its real, they burst out in laughter haha I think its hilarious too. Plus, when I tell them the whole story, there's even more of a reason to laugh. I am planning to get it covered up though, because even though it was my first, its not pretty and I want something else there. Although, sometimes i think about keeping it the way it is, because it is my first tattoo and i feel i should keep around for shits and giggles lol. I have had it for almost a year and a half and I'm not hating it as much as the people who've seen it haha Ohhh well, that's life. And I don't regret a single thing about this tattoo. Oh and here's a photo of it, so you can have a big laugh about it... share it with everyone you know too, i'm positive they'll get a laugh out of it too! I mean seriously, just look at that picture and try not to laugh at how bad it is! hahaha

Fun Fact Friday!

  
     This is only my second "Fun Fact Friday," so there are a lot of facts that I want to post and share with all of my readers(who will hopefully turn into followers!! j/s!) I decided to share with all of you today my borderline insane, obsession with all things Harry Potter!
     It's crazy to think that at one point in my life, I actually hated Harry Potter and thought that anyone who read the books was the biggest nerd on the planet. What can i say i was 11. Thankfully, 10 years ago this coming November, my school took my 6th grade class on a field trip to see the first film, "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone," and ever since than I've been in love!
    I grew up with these films and books and each year I've waited for the new book/movie to be released, like a 5 year old waiting for christmas morning! I absolutely love every single one of the books and movies, with the 6th book and movie being my favorite ones out of all of them!!![well for now, until the 8th movie comes out lol] I honestly can't say one bad thing about the series that disappoints me, expect for the very unrealistic fact that i wish they went on forever and never ended!! But alas that'd be impossible! I will forever cherish these past 10 years growing up with Harry, Ron, Hermione and all the other truly unforgettable characters that i've grown to know and love!! to me its as if they are great friends, even if they aren't real. hahaha wow i'm such a creep!
    Any way, this is my Fun Fact Friday and I hope you all enjoyed reading about my obsession with Harry Potter!

First Ever: Fun Fact Friday!

     Good morning lovelies! I have loads of running around to do today! I  have a wedding to attend in two weeks with my family and lots of little bits and bobs still need to get finished. I just sent my dress to be altered yesterday and I also bought some shoes to wear with it. I absolutely dread going to weddings; it's definitely not my cup of tea. Any way, I will be going all over the place with my mom today trying to get as much done as possible.
     So I will leave you with my first ever FUN FACT FRIDAY!!

     Well Today's first ever Fun Fact Friday is... That I am one of six(6) children! Yes, all from the same mom and dad! lol I find it funny when people ask me that; yes, my parents have six children together lol. I am the second child behind my oldest brother who is 22. I am, however, the first girl and first granddaughter; I'm 21. Then there's my first younger sister who's 20 and after her comes my youngest sister who's 13. After the girls is the younger boys, who are 10 and 8. It's a pretty big family and although they drive me insane at times, there's never a dull moment in our house! 

     So there you have it, my first ever Fun Fact Friday!! It was fun to do this and i'm hoping to keep at it as long as I can remember to post hahaha well until next time friends, have an awesome weekend!
