Exciting Announcement!

    I want to take this time to announce to all of you that my little online shoppe, Garden State Hair, has received it's FIRST ORDER!!!!! I'm soo excited that someone has stumbled upon my little shoppe here on my little 'ole blog and loved my handmade hair accessories enough to purchase one!!      My little shoppe has officially been open for about a month here on the blog, and I was beginning to get a bit discouraged about not making any sales, but alas, someone has come along to brighten my day! I'm so happy!
     Also, I've been gifted loads of new fabric from my great aunt, along with lots of little bits and bobs to make many more hair accessories!! I've been fiddling with the design and construction of them and some changes have resulted, good changes! I love the slight redesign much more than the original! I've assembled two need hair flowers and pics will be posted tomorrow, hopefully!

Garden State Hair shoppe

Sweet Perfection...

     Well, today is one of those Tuesdays, ya' know? When it still feels like Monday but your dying for it to be Friday? Yeah, well I'm definitely having one of those Tuesdays. I woke up much later than I would have like and I hate when that happens because my day feels wasted. But alas, I must move on with my plans for the day. Today is going to consist of: Errands to Wal-mart and a fabric store, walking 3 miles, and attending my little brother's baseball game(His team made it to the Championship game and if they win the game, they win first place in the league!!! I'm sooo proud of him!!)
     Ohh, and if your wondering about the title of this post(Sweet Perfection) its an amazing song by an even more amazing guy. Christofer Drew's, a.k.a. Never Shout Never, song 'Sweet Perfection' is what I'm listening to while I write this and I absolutely love this song, this album(title: Harmony), and this kid(Christofer Drew). His super inspirationally and really down to earth. Give him a listen, HERE!!

Garden State Hair: handcrafted hair accessories

     I am so super excited to announce the opening of my online hair accessories shoppe called, Garden State Hair: handmade. fabric flower hair accessories; perfect for lovely ladies of all ages!
     I've been making these little babies for a few years now, thanks to my grandma lol but I've never thought about selling them until just recently, probably due to the fact that I am recently unemployed lol. So I'm going to be selling my items through Google Checkout because there's no fees to list any items, unlike Etsy. I originally started my shoppe on Etsy a few days ago, but realized that I wouldn't be able to finance the listing fees : / So for right now, I'm using google.
     All my items can be found right here on my blog!! There's a link in the Navi bar titled, Garden State Hair, where you can browse, shop and purchase some of my flower hair accessories!! This is the first time I'm doing anything like this in my life, aside from the lemonade stand i had when I was like 6 lol, so there's going to be lots of trial and error with this whole process. Mainly because its brand new to me, so I'm just asking that all of you bare with me lol but I'm sure it won't be too bad.
